Welcome to our Web Site

The Fellowship of St. Silas is a pan-Orthodox Christian prison ministry whose goal is to work in a unified way on behalf of those who are behind prison walls. The many prisoners to whom we minister across the country simply desire to pray, repent and be nurtured in their faith.

My Life is Good!

Dear Very Rev. Fr. David Ogan,

A few weeks ago in late October I sent you a letter, but you did not get it because your address has now changed.  Now I have your new address.

Hopefully you will get this letter and the one I sent you in October.  Also I hope you get the photo of myself.

davidThank you for the cross which has been dipped with blessed water.  I am very slow to do things at times.  The blessed cross you sent me back in the first part of November.  Soon I plan to bless my living area.

My life seemingly does not change much.  Most of the things I do probably qualify me as being "institutionalized", but despite my life's situation, I sincerely believe my life is a good one! My faith in God Jesus Christ is real, and I continue to believe I am being led by the Holy Spirit.

I am always happy to receive letters, etc. from you, even though over the years some of your letters have contained some sad news.

May God shower down more and more blessing upon you and all your loved ones.

Sincerely,

David
